Dated back to the 1920s, auto body work has been part of the Salem, MA community, with one of the city’s first repair facilities located down the infamous hill. In the 1950s, Thomas “Tommy” Lupo operated a shop here, followed by his son Jeffrey Lupo, each contributing to the tradition of quality auto repair in the area.
In 2021, his granddaughter Corrin Lupo opened Salem Auto Body LLC as a completely new, independently operated business. Drawing inspiration from her family’s history in the industry, she has built a modern, technologically advanced, and efficient repair facility that serves today’s customers.

Repair Process:
While it may seem confusing, or the very least, daunting to some, the repair process is actually quite simple. Once a collision occurs and you collect all the necessary information from the other party, you are to contact your insurance carrier and start a claim. Then, contact us to schedule an appointment to fix your vehicle. Depending on the situation you are in or what you choose, the insurance company may write an initial estimate, or we may send one to them. We can also arrange a rental car from Enterprise if needed.
Once we have your vehicle on site, we disassemble the vehicle. Most of the time, a supplement estimate is written if there is any underlying/ additional damage found. Once everything is approved by you and your insurance company, repairs begin, your car is cleaned and ready to go!

Combined, our small staff has a total of 100+ years of experience in automotive body repair. We are confident that your vehicle is in excellent and very skilled hands. We take pride in making our customers experience as easy as possible and ensuring that their vehicle looks like the day they purchased it from the inside and out.
Our office managers give our customers the knowledge they need to feel empowered and more comfortable with the repair process, especially since auto body repair is often an unfamiliar process for our customers and can cause a lot of unwanted emotions.
Our goal is to get the vehicle repaired with as little inconvenience as possible without sacrificing quality.
